REGIONAL SECURITY ENGINEER
With close to 20 years of experience in the IT Industry, David is responsible for providing Carbon Black’s Endpoint Threat Detection and Response (ETDR) solution to the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region, across various verticals including, but not limited to Government, Financial Institutions, Transport, Telco and Healthcare. On top of a solution architect role, he also provides technical consultancy and advisory around application development, integration, deployment and automation of solutions involving SIEM, IT Management Systems, Next-Generation End Point Security as well as Cyber Threat Intelligence. He is also responsible for technical enablement for the partner ecosystem in Carbon Black and involved in business development at times.

With over a decade’s experience in the IT industry, Tony has held senior roles as both a network and cyber security professional. Originally from Australia, he has been based in Singapore since 2008. Over the course of his career, he has advised clients within the telecommunications, ICT consulting, financial services and IT industries. This experience allows him to apply a broad perspective to today’s security challenges.
As Chief Strategist at Check Point, Tony provides thought leadership regarding the current threat landscape and the challenges this poses for businesses. He is a strong advocate of preventative controls as part of a multi-layered security strategy, focusing on APTs, zero days, and advanced malware.
MANAGING DIRECTOR, ASIA PACIFIC
Sanjay Aurora is the Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Darktrace since 2015, where he has spearheaded the company’s expansion in the region, with the rapid adoption of Darktrace’s award-winning Enterprise Immune System technology, and the opening of 9 offices in Asia Pacific. As a testament to the company’s success in the region, Darktrace was named ‘Emerging Cyber Security Technology Vendor of the Year’ and awarded the ‘Industrial Control Systems Security Technology Innovation Leadership’ in the Frost & Sullivan APAC ICT Awards 2016.
Sanjay has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry in the Asia-Pacific region. An influential speaker at conferences, Sanjay’s most notable engagements include AusCert 2016, GTACS 2016, E-Crime 2016 and Data Breach Summit Asia 2016. He has also frequently shared his views on cyber defence on CNBC, BBC, Channel News Asia and various other media outlets. Prior to joining Darktrace, Sanjay held senior roles at OpenText, Autonomy and Interwoven. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
SENIOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
Olli Jarva is the senior Solutions Architect with Synopsys Singapore. Prior to his current post, he worked for the company called Codenomicon developing intelligent fuzzing solutions and solutions to manage open source liability and vulnerability issues. Mr. Jarva is an expert in network protocol security and he has a deep understanding of protocol vulnerabilities. Mr. Jarva’s professional background is in system administration and risk coordination. He has been involved in the discovery and coordination of a number of zero-day vulnerabilities, including the IPv6 Jumbodiagram and Linux SCTP stack vulnerabilities. Mr. Jarva is a regular speaker at various security testing conferences such as RSA, AusCert, CodeGate.
Mr. Richard Bussiere is Tenable Network Security’s Technical Director for the Asia Pacific Region. In this multifaceted role, Mr. Bussiere is responsible for evangelizing the criticality of vulnerability assessment, vulnerability management, and comprehensive security monitoring strategies as part of an organizations enhanced cybersecurity posture. Mr. Bussiere is a frequent public speaker on these and other security and networking matters.
Mr. Bussiere frequently assists Financial Services Organizations, Governments, and Managed Security Service Providers in adopting a regimen of aggressive monitoring for vulnerabilities and breaches to help significantly improve their cybersecurity position.
Prior to Tenable, Mr. Bussiere was Arbor Network’s Solution Architect for Asia Pacific. In this role, Mr. Bussiere assisted organizations in assessing their risk exposure to Distributed Denial of Service attacks. He has advised several regulatory bodies on recommended legislation to protect critical infrastructure against DDoS attacks.
Mr. Bussiere is the holder of five patents related to computer networking and network security. He was also an active participant in the IEEE and IETF working groups.
